Fall Festivities at Swans Trail
Happy October everyone! Fall has always been my favorite season with the changing leaves, crisp air, and being able to cozy up with a warm sweater; an added bonus, sipping on some pumpkin spice!
Even during these difficult times, I wanted to enjoy everything Fall has to offer, so last weekend I visited Swans Trail Farms in Snohomish, WA for some fun Fall festivities!
Apple Orchard & Pumpkin Patch
First stop, was the apple orchard! This was my first experience apple picking and it will definitely be a new fall tradition! It’s such a fun activity to do with family, friends, or your SO. It was such a treat to bring home hand-picked apples that were so sweet, juicy, and crisp!
What’s great about this farm is that they also have a pumpkin patch! Walking up to the sea of orange instantly put me in the fall mood. While Halloween may look a little different this year, picking pumpkins and pumpkin carving will put anyone in the Halloween spirit!
Corn Maze, Hay Stack Pyramid, + Other Activities
Next up, we enjoyed a wagon ride that brought us to a corn maze. The last time I remember doing one, was during an elementary school field trip and walking through the maze brought back so many fun childhood memories. When we escaped the corn maze, we were welcomed with a haystack pyramid. I climbed to the top and enjoyed the view that overlooked the entire farm.
While I didn’t participate in any other activities, there are a bunch for both kids + adults to enjoy: a petting farm, a pig show, barnyard sports, and more! Aside from all the activities, they have all the yummy fall treats! To end the day, I enjoyed some spiced cider, indulged in a freshly baked cider doughnut, and bought some fresh corn to cook for dinner.
